Wonderfull and Wild Spring

The second day of spring Marlene arrived and massive waves hit the coast. Our home town saw some damage to roads and roadside furniture, minor damage to private residences and damage to municipal services. The sea took back some of what it had deposited on the beaches and moved some of it further inland.

Clearly the two photographers below were caught off guard!

This is to my knowledge, a relatively minor occurrence of abnormal waves and yet it certainly reminded me of how small we really are...

I was also very glad the new arrivals could experience a bit of the low temperatures and they found on the lawn, shortly after their arrival, these interesting ice formations. My brother returned home after helping Marlene with the drive and moving up here.

There are many people I wish to thank for all their support and dedication with helping to finish at home what I was unable to and also supporting Marlene and helping her pack and prepare for the move. Thank you very much, what we have experienced will always stay in our hearts and help preserve our friendship.

CLIMATIC DIVERSITY!

A beautifull, wonderfull and truly amazing world we live in! I took some pictures today of the promise of green I mentioned a month or so ago...and then I also recieved some from my farther-in-law from Robertson, some 1000km south west of here.
Spot the climatic difference!

Green versus white, and somehow I can feel the white approaching!

Mishka is growing into an angel of a girl!

And Marlene will be here soon, Tuesday, with three of our K9 "children".
