Dr Baird phoned me to inform that the lab had, from one of the last three sputums, grown a pseudomonas resistant to Fortum. So finally they confirmed the expected, there is something...I believe it is a small matter. I believe we will treat it in good time and have the desired outcome. This bug must be sitting very low down in my lungs and that's how it had gone undetected through so many test samples.
Apart from still being a little tired, I think from after my very long day Tuesday, I feel good. My pulse is below 80 beats per minute at rest which means my SATS are very close to 90% with oxygen at 4l/min at an altitude of about 1600m above msl. I can also make short walks without oxygen and not feel like I'm falling over. I sleep well, eat well and feel well, just miss all at seahome. I have plenty of work to do and it helps to take my mind off the longing. Am looking forward to visiting (or a visit) my oldest brother this weekend.
Coffee break in April of this year, the three brothers worked on fixing the roof beams of the middle brothers cottage, (my job was to suggest how things should be done). We are from left Johan, Hendrik and me, Danel is keeping Hans company. It was a very special time as my Sister also got married in that week...
