Full weekend - empty house

After Marlene left this morning I had a lonely and quiet time. That empty-house feeling after the visitors!! I had a great time this weekend though with Lucien, Ters, Naas and Marlene visiting from East London. Also Neil and Marlize from Johannesburg and the Roos family, my "patrons". New visitors were Willie and Cariena with their children. On Sunday morning we had coffee in the warm sun on my "voorstoep". It means so much to me when people take the time and spend a few minutes, or even better hours, sharing conversation.

I am happy for the warmer weather and find it hard to believe that I have been here for 90 days spanning probably the coldest time of the year.
